Riding along the canal yesterday on our way to Worcester when we stumbled upon this place. Slammed on the brakes and enjoyed some very welcome hot drinks. Really good coffee and hot chocolate and superb, friendly service. A great find. The kind of small business that deserves to thrive!

Stopped today with my son for a toasted teacake and one of the best cups of tea in a long time. What a gem of a canal side oasis. Paul the owner was so friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We will be back and lovely to see a family run business like this delivering a great service to walkers and cyclists on this beautiful part of canal network.
Lovely place to stop, Great coffee and three classic little terriers.
Stop for a coffee and cake here today. So peaceful and relaxing. The best carrot cake I have ever had and great coffee also.
After stumbling across this lovely friendly place called River Bank Rest on our walk yesterday across the canal. We found the owners to be very welcoming and friendly, had time to chat and make us feel welcome. We are looking forward to returning soon and will be ording one of their home made pizza's. Would recommend this lovely place to stop off for a break.
17 miles deep into a 20 mile walk along the canals from Dudley Port to Kidderminster and this place appeared like an oasis in a desert. The food was excellent, the owner and his friend were great to talk to, and they were lifesavers that day as I was flagging. Much needed pit stop, and a cosy outdoor atmosphere to boot, surrounded by nature. Fantastic little café along the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal in Cookley, highly recommended if you're ever taking a trip that way.
Great little place to take a ‘pit-stop’ whilst walking along the canal Pizza was delicious and milkshake with ice cream just what was needed on a rather hot June afternoon Owners are welcoming and friendly Dog friendly too
